Inspiration: “Most of us have a propensity for gaining for home rather than gaining at home.”  Rev. T.D. Jakes

Be: (positive confession) I Am Gaining Ground.

Do: (first steps) Today, put as much effort into developing the relationships with the ones you adore as you do fostering partnerships with those who visit your showroom floor.  Ask yourself, when was the last time I really listened, like nothing else mattered, to my son/daughter/spouse?  Do the people I say I love know I love them beyond a shadow of a doubt or have I been so busy trying to stay ahead that I’ve put them on the back burner?  Accounts can be replaced and contracts renewed, but hearts are slow to repair.  With the hustle of life it is easy to lose sight of the things that count most, especially when we see our efforts to improve financially/socially as being for our loved ones.  Just remember to remind yourself what the main thing is every day, beginning today.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I win the heart of my family I have an asset that is 100% recession proof, and a legacy that will continue to produce long after my days are complete.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “True stability results when presumed order and presumed disorder are balanced.  A truly stable system expects the unexpected, is prepared to be disrupted, waits to be transformed” Tom Robbins, American Novelist circa 1936

Be: (positive confession) I Am Ready for the Unexpected.

Do: (first steps) Today, follow the motto of the Boy Scouts of America, “Be Prepared.”  Budget extra time when traveling and extra money when making forecast for the future.  No one wants to believe that roadblocks, downturns in the market, spoilage, or miscalculations will occur; but planning for them does not constitute a lack of faith or a pessimistic attitude.  On the contrary it is a sign of wisdom and a mature outlook, not to mention a safety net.  Right now make a list of at least five possible interruptions to your business and/or personal plans then for each one write down two strategies to overcome or at the very least survive them successfully.  (Hint, hint: If you are unable to devise these strategies on your own call upon the resources of an accountant, attorney, or business coach)

Have: (making dreams reality) As I prepare for potential surprises I have at the ready a proven system for continued success, no matter what may come my way.

Be, Do, and Havethe best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Don’t fear the unexpected.  Prepare for it!

Inspiration: “How you think when you lose determines how long it will be until you win.” G.K. Chesterton English Poet and Author

Be: (positive confession) I Am Win-Win.

Do: (first steps) Today, learn how to handle your losses.  Winners focus on what is leftover and not what they lose.  What is leftover you ask?  Wisdom about what doesn’t work or work best, a deeper passion to do better next time, and a more intense appreciation for the fruits that come along with winning.  The next time you “win” from the losing side step back and make a list of what went wrong.  If it was under your control write down the strategies you need to employ next time to avoid the same mistakes; if it was something out of your control chalk it up to being part of playing the “game” and move on from it, dwelling on a bad break or other outside factors will only serve to slow your progress.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I stand on what is left and learn from what has been lost I will have more frequent victories to celebrate.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Don’t spend your time being afraid to lose. Losses happen, there is no way around it, but if we focus our attention on what we can do to win, and create situations where those around us win our victories will far outweigh anything lost!

Inspiration: “The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short: but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.” Michelangelo

Be: (positive confession) I Am Pointed in the Right Direction.

Do: (first steps) Today, resist the temptation to fire off a shot until you first pick out and align yourself to a target.  The mantra of today, “ready, fire, aim” has many looking busy but keeps them unproductive.  Your skills and talents will allow you to do several things well, imagine though, what you will do great once your actions line up completely with your intended target.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I get myself pointed in the right direction and flow toward a singular purpose I will go from good to great.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”  Author Unknown

Be: (positive confession) I Am a Make-It-Happen Person.

Do: (first steps) Today, fix in your mind that wishing and hoping are empty without proactive intervention on your part.   Secondly shake off your blunders: as Og Mandino once said “our capacity to make mistakes is inseparable from our capacity to reach our goals.” Thirdly be a self starter, kick your day off with something powerful: completely engaged exercise, actively writing your thoughts or dreams for that days accomplishments, or fervent prayer for others are ways to make your very first hour productive.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I challenge myself and refuse to accept the minimum the world wants to offer me, I have the capacity to take the abundance the world is capable of providing for me.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!
While you are making it happen don’t be afraid to make mistakes.

Inspiration: “We may be very busy, we may be very efficient, but we will also be truly effective only when we begin with the end in mind.”  Stephen Covey, Author The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People

Be: (positive confession) I Am Effective.

Do: (first steps) Today, don’t confuse effort with effectiveness.  If you grew up with the adage that says hard work makes one successful you only have half of the story.  Action without a plan is like the kid who gets into a fight on the playground who closes his eyes and swings wildly. He looks like he is doing something and may actually connect on a punch every now and then, but never on purpose.  Design your plan of attack first, and do it with a very specific goal in mind such that every step you take brings you closer to attaining what you set out for in the first place.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I make purposeful effort I exceed the results of mere busy-ness and have a precise understanding of where I am headed.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “For real change to occur we must consciously face the truth about or old story, consciously identify faulty assumptions, and consciously pursue the new story.”  Jim Loehr, paraphrase from the book The Power of Story

Be: (positive confession) I Am a Story in the Making.

Do: (first steps) Today, if you are not satisfied with where you are at or where you are going take a good hard look at the story you have created.  You say family is the “most important thing to you” and yet you don’t even know your daughter’s best friend’s name, what your wife went through on her way home from work, or that your son is upset because he didn’t make the school baseball team. The good news, you can start right now rewriting the novel of your life.  Begin by writing down exactly what it is you want, then rewrite it daily (in a journal or letter to self), next visualize yourself in the middle of the story going precisely as you as you wrote it, talk about it with those whose opinion you value, and most important deliberately act on it by creating daily rituals that are in line with the story you want to read about you.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I embed my personal story, the one I want to tell, in my conscious mind it will become part of my unconscious reflex and I will have the best seller I intended to fashion.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “Muscle is the most metabolically active tissue in your body. Muscle sucks up tons of oxygen and other nutrients to feed itself and function optimally. Because it consumes so many calories, muscle is the number one determinant of your resting metabolic rate.”  Jorge Cruise, Author of “The 12 Second Sequence Shrink Your Waist in 2 Weeks”

Be: (positive confession) I Am Ripped.

Do: (first steps) Today, build some more muscle.  Even if you don’t want to look like the Incredible Hulk building strong muscles will help you improve your metabolism, burn more fat, be mentally more acute, and feel better about yourself.  A certified trainer can help you choose exercises that are safe for you and promote a healthier lifestyle.  (You can also check out www.diskease.com and sign up to be a member for free.  There are animated exercises for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels.)

Have: (making dreams reality) As I develop my muscle tone I have more self confidence and decrease my risk of some of today’s most feared diseases: heart disease, diabetes, and stroke.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier.”  Roy Disney

Be: (positive confession) I Am Clear.

Do: (first steps) Today, if nothing else, get one thing straight …… your values.  The principles by which we live are lives are more than just a written code hung on a corporate wall or a doctrine we recite parrot-like.  To be truly meaningful they must be settled in our hearts and minds as standards to which we hold ourselves to when no one is watching.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I clarify what is important and what is right I have the ability to make choices without fear of regret or angst over who’s feelings may be hurt by what I decide.

Inspiration:   “Flexibility is a component of fitness and should be worked on as if it were (as important) as your cardio or weight training session at the gym……. Many people neglect working on their flexibility. This cannot only decrease the quality of their life (for instance, not being able to touch your toes or tie your shoes) but it can also cause injuries due to lack of range of motion” Matt Weik, Professional Trainer and expert in Kinesiology

Be: (positive confession) I Am Flexible.

Do: (first steps) Today, stretch.  Muscles that have been properly stretched are less likely to be injured and more apt to perform at a high level when you need them too.  After a five minute warm up consisting of brisk walking or calisthenics stretch to the point of mild discomfort (pull, not pain) than ease off slightly and hold for ten to thirty seconds; then repeat three more times (According to ACSM guidelines).  Stretching is joint and muscle specific; it is important to cover all the groups at least once during the course of your week, and problem areas at least twice.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I begin a good routine of stretching I may at first experience increase soreness, but in the long run will reduce the achiness that has slowed you down and I will have muscles that are ready for action.

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!
