Inspiration: “Be uncompromising in doctrine and conduct; but be yielding in manner.  A mace of tempered steel wrapped in a quilted covering. Be uncompromising, but don’t be obstinate.” Saint Josemaria Escriva

Be: (positive confession) I Am Uncompromising.

Do: (first steps) Today, there will be opportunities to make concessions on your way of life.  In matters of style by all means do so in this way you can be relevant to all men.  In matters of principle, however, stand your ground.  Compromising your values, even if it provides momentary pleasure, only serves to undermine your character and self esteem.

Have: (making dreams reality) As I firmly adhere to sound ideals and a code of conduct, yet have the flexibility to meet people at the level they are at I secure the position of both relevance and moral strength.

Be, Do, and Have a Great Day!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “About sixty to seventy percent of people with diabetes have mild to severe forms of diabetic nerve damage, which in severe forms can lead to lower limb amputations.  Approximately 56,000 people a year lose their foot or leg to diabetes.”  Source Foot.com

Be: (positive confession) I Am Light on My Feet.

Do: (first steps) Today, minimize your risk of diabetes by reducing your intake of foods high in processed sugars (white flour, white sugar), exercising at least twenty minutes 3-4 times per week (walking is great and helps improve circulation to the feet with little stress on the bones), and taking the Diabetes Risk Calculator found at www.diabetes.org/risk-test.jsp (according to the ADA there are 20.8 million adults and children with diabetes and 6.2 million “don’t know they have it.”).

Have: (making dreams reality) As I take preventative steps to lower my risk of diabetes I also reduce the possibility of stroke and heart disease, in addition to ensuring I will have my feet to stand on in the future.

Be, Do, and Have a Great Day!  God Bless You!
