Do: (first steps) Today, remember the words of this proverb, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Each day you are writing your screen-play, your life’s story and Man, You get to Script it! Choose this moment to script abundance; even if it looks like you are walking in lack it doesn’t mean that you are lacking. Begin by identifying the reel you’ve been running in your head and projecting on the screen for others to see then steadily replace those clips with the truth of God’s word.

Do: (first steps) Today, consider how you treat others. It is sad to say, but ‘common courtesy’ is not as common as it used to be. Both those to whom you are subject to and those you have been given authority over deserve to be treated with honor and respect. It doesn’t require any additional energy to greet someone pleasantly with a smile and handshake while looking them straight in the eye. In expressing courtesy follow the wisdom of this Persian Proverb: “Treat your superior as a father, your equal as a brother, and your inferior as a son.”

Do: (first steps) Today, shift your gaze from problem focus to solution focus. When we meditate on the problems at hand they loom larger; you were put here to be a solution for someone else. So if you can’t find an answer, be the answer. Help the people you were meant to help. Give an encouraging word or a word of warning if need be. Lend some assistance to a hurting family. Share your wisdom and your strength (both physical and emotional) and if all else fails laugh your socks off trying!

Do: (first steps) Today, just because you have always done things the same way, or thought about things from one perspective doesn’t mean you can’t change. If you are unsatisfied with the results you are getting or know you can perform better and achieve more look within and exercise the thing that separates us from the beast of the fields, our self-control. Start by replacing disempowering thought patterns, failure images, and ingrained habits with the picture God has painted of you in His word: that of a beloved son/daughter, a world over-comer who is able to exercise discipline, and someone worth dying for.

Be: (positive confession) I Am a Reservoir.
Do: (first steps) Today, be mindful of what you are storing up inside. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we are able to choose what we allow our hearts to be filled up with. We can allow it to be flooded with grudges held for the wrongs done to us, anxiety about what the future holds, and feelings of being slighted or treated unfairly. None of these will serve us. Although you have every right to hold onto these emotions consider what you really want to produce and do just the opposite. Forgive those who have wronged you, trust that Jesus holds the future in his hands and will protect you from harm, and rule over injustice by being just and honest toward others.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I fill up the reservoir of my soul with good things the words that come out of my mouth will bring healing to all who listen and receive; and fertilize the fields where my harvest is growing.

Be: (positive confession) I Am Valiant.
Do: (first steps) Today, don’t be ruffled by the upheaval that surrounds you, and don’t stand for it either. The adversity you face may be meant by your enemies to destroy you but as challenging loads build bigger muscles the peril you are confronted with will make you stronger if you press through it. To overcome first set your mind on the prize not the problem (develop new solutions to the problem). Next take an “it just doesn’t matter” attitude, by that I mean that anytime you are challenged by the circumstances look within instead of at what is going on around you and say “I know it is raining outside but it just doesn’t matter I am going to exercise anyway” then do it (apply that to exercise, on the job or business challenges, etc.). Lastly link up with other winning men or women who won’t let you use trials as an excuse for being less than what God created you to be; the ones who will encourage you and hold you accountable.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I bear minor struggles and seemingly disastrous events valiantly I will exit struggles stronger and with a greater resolve than I entered.

Do: (first steps) Today, buck the societal trend of fault-finding. Instead of looking for things in people to criticize make an effort to notice and verbally recognize their admirable traits. Pay close attention to their best features and focus on the activities in which they excel. Start with those closest to you (the ones we tend to take for granted), and be willing to extend the courtesy to the ones who rub you the wrong way as well.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I train myself to see the positive features of those around me I will find that the people I see are more loveable than I imagined.

Do: (first steps) Today, what foundation are you built on? Is it a foundation of material things and possessions or the stability of a life built on your relationship with your creator? Jesus said this kind of living will protect you (not exempt you) from the trials this world will bring. Remember the person of Jesus is your bridge to heaven, while the principles of Jesus are meant to bring you good success here on earth. Commit to both.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I hear the words of God and do them I will have protection in the event of a tempestuous storm and prosper in everything I put my hand to.

Be: (positive confession) I Am (a well sharpened) an Axe.
Do: (first steps) Today, try cutting through the phone book with a butter knife. You might be able to do it, but I guarantee it will take you a lot longer than it would if you spent more time searching and less time cutting with a properly sharpened instrument. The same is true with activities that require mental acuity. While I am an advocate of jumping into action; doing so without the proper know-how or skills is akin to the butter knife/phone book analogy. You can make it work, but why spend all that time wearing yourself out. (An additional side benefit is that the wisdom you develop in sharpening your axe will remain with you for life.)
Have: (making dreams reality) As I use my time wisely, investing in the expansion of my knowledge and skill set I will find I reach my destination in the same amount of time or sooner with less wear and tear on my body.
