The Thought For the Day: Human Bedoing
Friday, July 17, 2009
Inspiration: “Being and doing are the two domains of human existence. A person’s being is their boundless natural self. Their doing is the expression of that nature within form and time. Being is our identity. Doing is our career. When we are most healthy and vital, we connect our identity with our [...]

Inspiration: “Being and doing are the two domains of human existence. A person’s being is their boundless natural self. Their doing is the expression of that nature within form and time. Being is our identity. Doing is our career. When we are most healthy and vital, we connect our identity with our career- who we are with what we do.” Author Unknown
Be: (positive confession) I Am a Human Bedoing.
Do: (first steps) Today, spend an equal amount of time developing who you are and what you do. Ignoring your activities as some would suggest (The “you are a human being not a human doing” crowd) is just as harmful as losing sight of your identity. Create for yourself a “to be” list and at the end of each day review what you did to bring you closer to your dreams. Remember, only someone who knows who they are and does something about it is capable of fulfilling their destiny
Have: (making dreams reality) As I increase awareness of who I need to be and do what I need to do I have the right combination of attributes to achieve what I want to achieve.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Peacemaker
Thursday, July 16, 2009
Inspiration: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9 (NIV)
Be: (positive confession) I Am a Peacemaker.
Do: (first steps) Today, go beyond peacekeeping to peacemaking. While peacekeepers are willing to compromise the truth and may say anything to help them remain comfortable, peacemakers are prepared to confront [...]

Inspiration: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.” Matthew 5:9 (NIV)
Be: (positive confession) I Am a Peacemaker.
Do: (first steps) Today, go beyond peacekeeping to peacemaking. While peacekeepers are willing to compromise the truth and may say anything to help them remain comfortable, peacemakers are prepared to confront the real issues and not accept a false calm. Armed with the truth willingly ask the tough questions and face problems openly at the outset.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I live the life of a peacemaker I may deal with some uncomfortable moments, buts those few instances will protect me from the harmful ramifications of a life unchecked and set me up for blessing.

The Thought For The Day: Emulator
Wednesday, July 15, 2009
Inspiration: “Men nearly always follow the tracks made by others and proceed in their affairs by imitation, even though they cannot entirely keep to the tracks of others or emulate the prowess of their models. So a prudent man should always follow in the footsteps of great men and imitate those who [...]

Inspiration: “Men nearly always follow the tracks made by others and proceed in their affairs by imitation, even though they cannot entirely keep to the tracks of others or emulate the prowess of their models. So a prudent man should always follow in the footsteps of great men and imitate those who have been outstanding….. He should behave like those archers who, if they are skillful, know the capabilities of their bow and aim a good deal higher than their objective, not in order to shoot so high but so that aiming high they can reach their target.” Niccolo Machiavelli, 15th and 16th century Italian Statesman
Be: (positive confession) I Am an Emulator.
Do: (first steps) Today, choose quality role models. One of the best ways of learning and grasping how to excel in any field of endeavor is to find someone who is experiencing success and emulate their efforts and disciplines. Learn what they are doing habitually behind the scenes and away from the crowds, immediately apply it and you will know the true secret to their success. Remember there are no special medals awarded for reinventing the wheel, don’t let pride keep you from the benefit of a good mentor.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I model the ways of high achievers I will, through the process of practical education, shorten my trip to the top.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Reverent

Inspiration: “What you recognize you maximize.” Rev. Matthew Ashimolowo
Be: (positive confession) I Am Reverent.
Do: (first steps) Today, give honor to whom it is due. Your ability to receive from another is almost entirely related to the degree of respect you hold for them in your heart. As the biblical account points out, Jesus who went around healing all manner of sickness could only heal a few headaches in his hometown because he was viewed in low esteem by the people of that area. Whether it is your pastor, your physician, your father/mother, or a government official you need to value them regardless of your impression of the quality of work they are doing lest you severely hinder your own progress. Hold them in high esteem because they have been placed in that position by God. In honoring them you honor the one who set them in their post. In fact there are a multitude of examples throughout history of men and women properly reverencing fallible, even unjust authority figures and being amply rewarded as a result.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I honor those in authority in the name of that authority I will receive the reward that comes with that position. (See Matthew 10:41)

The Thought For The Day: Gyroscopic
Monday, July 13, 2009
Inspiration: “The space shuttle is off course over ninety percent of the time yet still manages to successfully complete its mission by virtue of the fact it knows when it is headed, even minutely, in the wrong direction and addresses it immediately.”
Be: (positive confession) I Am Gyroscopic.

Inspiration: “The space shuttle is off course over ninety percent of the time yet still manages to successfully complete its mission by virtue of the fact it knows when it is headed, even minutely, in the wrong direction and addresses it immediately.”
Be: (positive confession) I Am Gyroscopic.
Do: (first steps) Today, imagine what would happen if the space shuttle didn’t assess it’s position in the cosmos until the final result was in. They would end up millions of mile off course and have start over or abort their mission altogether. The purpose of a gyroscope is to measure and maintain orientation. These instruments have been used on the seas and in outer space to help ships maintain their proper direction. Today Laser Gyroscopes in conjunction with computers enable devices like guided missiles and the space shuttle to reach their destinations by constantly reporting when the craft is going off-line and making minor corrections continually. The way you can do this is by first planning where you want to end up (debt free, physically healthy, a specific career path) then jumping in and doing the work necessary to get you there: and always conduct a review to see where you are at before the final results are in. Get in the habit of checking your flight path along the way by following this simple gyroscopic formula: Plan, Do, and Review.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I make continuous and minor corrections to my plans and activities while in process I will stay on target to reach my goals and dreams

The Thought For The Day: Completer

Inspiration: “Two things rob people of their peace of mind: work unfinished and work not yet begun.” Author Unknown
Be: (positive confession) I Am a Completer.
Do: (first steps) Today, tackle one of the biggest foes to your well-being. Procrastination. Every incomplete project or task in your personal or business life is like a blood sucking leach, draining the fuel necessary for you to fully pursue your dreams. Leave them alone and they will simply expand and overwhelm like a smelly landfill. Start completing those half done projects, one at a time, and see your energy level soar. Similar to moving old boxes out of your attic, polishing off unfinished business will free space in your brain to help you be at your best for the endeavors you are truly passionate about.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I clear out the clutter of incompletion I’ll have the room to spread my wings and fly forward.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Taking Inventory
Thursday, July 9, 2009
Inspiration: “A complete and accurately defined list of projects, kept current and reviewed on at least a weekly basis, is a master key to stress free productivity.” David Allen, Author of Getting Things Done: the art of Stress Free Productivity

Inspiration: “A complete and accurately defined list of projects, kept current and reviewed on at least a weekly basis, is a master key to stress free productivity.” David Allen, Author of Getting Things Done: the art of Stress Free Productivity
Be: (positive confession) I Am Taking Inventory.
Do: (first steps) Today, instead of doing like the vast majority, making a list of things to do wait until the end of the day and write down all the things that you actually did. Do this daily, or at the very least weekly then ask yourself the following questions: “Was this action critical to my success in (business, family, personal development, health, etc.)?” “As a result of this action am I moving closer to success?” “Did this activity build momentum or did it slow down the progression toward my stated goals?” Replace or refine any activity that doesn’t result in a unanimous affirmative to these three queries.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I take account of the activities I do on a daily basis I’ll have a true picture of the advancement I can expect and a better capacity to replace busyness with productivity.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Habit Conscious
Wednesday, July 8, 2009
Inspiration: “Good habits, once established, are just as hard to break as are bad habits.” Robert Puller
Be: (positive confession) I Am Habit Conscious.

Inspiration: “Good habits, once established, are just as hard to break as are bad habits.” Robert Puller
Be: (positive confession) I Am Habit Conscious.
Do: (first steps) Today, take a few minutes to review your daily routine. Things we do habitually are under subconscious control, in other words we do them without thinking. By bringing them into your conscious thought you can determine which habits serve you well and which are bringing you harm. Once you have done this make the conscious effort to replace detrimental activities with productive ones until you find yourself doing them thoughtlessly.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I become more aware of the affect specific actions have on my life and address them accordingly I’ll have greater control over the outcomes available to me.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Steady
Tuesday, July 7, 2009
Inspiration: “The most successful men in the end are those whose success is the result of steady accretion. It is the man who carefully advances step by step, with his mind becoming wider and wider and progressively better able to grasp any theme or situation.” Alexander Graham Bell, Inventor and educator

It is the man who carefully advances step by step, with his mind becoming wider and wider and progressively better able to grasp any theme or situation.” Alexander Graham Bell, Inventor and educator
Be: (positive confession) I Am Steady.
Do: (first steps) Today, call to mind the story of the tortoise and the hare and remember a ‘body in motion stays in motion’. Instead of doing massive action one day followed by days of inactivity let your life be marked by smaller, albeit, regular daily disciplines aimed at building your business, your relationships, your life. In doing so, even if the total number of activities in the second example is less the results will be greater because of the momentum that results from the daily rhythm you create. As the momentum and your abilities increase you can add more and more actions at a faster rate without feeling overwhelmed.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I replace fits and spurts with a steady climb I will develop a current geared to sweep me up in the flow of success. Slow/fast and steady wins the race!

Inspiration: “Veracity does not consist in saying, but in the intention of communicating the truth.” Samuel Taylor Coleridge
Be: (positive confession) I Am Veracious.
Do: (first steps) Today, demonstrate honest communication in both speech and spirit. Everyday we are presented with opportunities to bend the truth to suit our needs or personal agendas, in doing so we lie to ourselves. Make the choice to build up your character in the face of this temptation to purvey anything less than complete sincerity.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I consistently esteem wholesome and just conversation I’ll enjoy the fruits of high moral fiber.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
