Inspiration: “You cannot live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you.” John Wooden, Hall of Fame Basketball Coach
Be: (positive confession) I Am In search of Perfection.
Do: (first steps) Today, adjust your idea of what it means to be perfect. The perfection you should seek isn’t comprised of a mistake free day, but rather of a day of good misses and some selfless acts. Sure, you can watch the news and complain about all the injustice in our world; but your time will be better used reducing those inequities by the power of 1. Opportunities abound to make your presence known and your impact large, be it in the lives of young people without a mentor, single moms struggling to get by, or those trying to find peace after the loss of a loved one.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I abound in love and kindness the result will be perfection revealed in me and through me.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!

Inspiration: “Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.” Napoleon Hill
Be: (positive confession) I Am an Architect.
Do: (first steps) Today, revive the dreams you’ve allowed to fall by the wayside. You know, the ones you gave up on long ago that took with them a part of your spirit. Give them new life by relying somewhat on your experience of what didn’t work, but more so by linking that dream to the vision of how it can and should be done. Every master builder needs a schematic drawing to make his task clear and to determine the additional expertise essential to bring the project from a mere thought to reality. Ask God, the master builder of your life, for wisdom and for the manifestation of divinely orchestrated relationships to help bring what your mind’s eye has seen to completion.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I go that next step beyond dreaming, crystallizing my vision of the end product, my soul will be bolstered and I’ll achieve that which many proclaimed to be impossible.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!

Inspiration: “There are no winners or losers, only choosers” Greg Schiano, Head Football Coach at Rutgers University
Be: (positive confession) I Am Choosing Success.
Do: (first steps) Today, understand that there is no such thing as a born winner or born loser for that matter. Winning and losing is not based on any inherent trait but rather on the habits we create. By making good choices on a regular basis we set ourselves up for success. The good news for those who have made bad choices in the past is today provides a fresh start and an opportunity to change poor decisions and lose bad habits. Start from the inside out by taking a hard look at the things you are depositing internally. You need quality physical and spiritual food to replace the junk. I know its hard to quit anything bad cold turkey so here is a way to get the ball rolling in the right direction. Let’s say you’re a t.v. junkie, go ahead and watch your shows with the condition that before doing so you’ll spend 15 minutes studying your Bible. And for those of you struggling with poor food choices give your self permission to eat one of your favorite foods today only if you drink a 8 glasses of water and have a piece of fruit. Who knows you may find your too full to eat that piece of pie after all.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I practice a few simple successful disciplines on a daily basis while at the same time dropping a few bad habits I’ll have a winning life.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!

Inspiration: Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. Ambrose Redmoon
Be: (positive confession) I Am Courageous. I am willing to take the risks that can make a better life for me and those around me.
Do: (first steps) Today, write down the 3 things you fear the most, how overcoming those fears will help to improve your life and make you as successful as you should be, and what you plan to do to face and overcome those fears. (ex. Public speaking, more confidence during presentations and more sales, speak to a small group of people about a topic I feel good about.)
Have: (making dreams reality) As I confront my fears head on they lose their grip on me and this frees me to have more of the things I desire.

The Thought For The Day: Fierce

Inspiration: “You will make all kinds of mistakes: but as long as you are generous and true and also fierce you cannot hurt the world or even seriously hurt her.” Winston Churchill

Inspiration: “You will make all kinds of mistakes: but as long as you are generous and true and also fierce you cannot hurt the world or even seriously hurt her.” Winston Churchill
Be: (positive confession) I Am Fierce.
Do: (first steps) Today, exude ferocity in the key areas of your life: family, business, and community. Relentlessly preserve and protect the ideals that govern all three by refusing to keep silent. Don’t stand idly by as your children accept mediocrity or your spouse wallows in self-pity over the adversities of life, instead express your love passionately and lift them up. Refuse to merely observe the hurting people in your town or city knowing that you are meant to be used of God to make a difference through word and deed. Will your business to success by doing what others aren’t able or willing to do, go the extra mile in service and while your at it pull your strategic partners and vendors along for the ride.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I ardently stand up and assert my influence I can feel secure that I am making a positive difference in my home and among the people outside those four walls that I was meant to help.

The Thought For The Day: Sprinting Through The Tape (part II)
Wednesday, September 23, 2009

Inspiration: “In life you need two lists; you need a very short ‘Yes List’ and a very long ‘No List’. There are only a few things in life you need to say Yes to and that is your mission, the things you are passionate about. Identify everything that is a choke point, everything that inhibits your progress in some way, shape, or form…. and don’t engage in those activities.” Gary Ryan Blair aka The Goals Guy
Be: (positive confession) I Am Sprinting Through The Tape (part II).
Do: (first steps) Today, realize one of the biggest obstacles to you having healthy energy levels and therefore a big obstacle to your overall success is being spread too thin. Sure you are saying yes to good causes (and perhaps some not so good ones) but are those causes in line with your mission? You will burn out if you attempt to be everything to everyone, and in the end disappoint others and yourself. Start expanding that “No List”, and reducing the “Yes List” to the items and actions that are most in line with your core purpose.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I learn to turn down activities that are slowing my progression in the direction of my mission I’ll have more in me to compete in the marketplace and finish strong.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Sprinting Through The Tape
Tuesday, September 22, 2009
Inspiration: “Success loves speed. The quicker you can start your day- achieve a win, build your momentum, and knock off your goals you’re making rapid progress. Speed, more than anything else gives you a competitive advantage (because) it allows you to take advantage of opportunities.” Gary Ryan Blair aka The Goals Guy

Speed, more than anything else gives you a competitive advantage (because) it allows you to take advantage of opportunities.” Gary Ryan Blair aka The Goals Guy
Be: (positive confession) I Am Sprinting Through the Tape.
Do: (first steps) Today, is the demarcation line, 100 days left in 2009. Whether you have been on track to meet your start if the year goals, got started and fell off course, or never quite started you can choose to finish the year strong. Begin a sprint to the finish by asking yourself (and honestly answering) some tough questions: What specific results have I achieved so far this year? Am I actively going after the things that are most important on a day to day basis? What habits and behaviors do I need to change to ensure better results?
Have: (making dreams reality) As I face the homestretch mentally prepared to compete I’ll have a greater ability to overcome the hurdles in my way.

Inspiration: “Really great people make you feel that you, too, can become great.” Mark Twain
Be: (positive confession) I Am a Motivator.
Do: (first steps) Today, make it your aim to help elevate at least one other person. Express your belief or confidence in their abilities, encourage them in the area of their greatest strength or assist them in an area where they struggle without tearing them down in the process. Demonstrate through your words and attitudes that you see them as valuable, precious, and part of the solution to the challenges you and your team face.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I raise up the confidence and expectations of those around me I increase the possibility that greatness will follow.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
The Thought For The Day: Overcomer
Friday, September 18, 2009

Inspiration: “God does not give us overcoming life: He gives us life as we overcome. The strain is the strength. If there is no strain, there is no strength. Are you asking God to give you life and liberty and joy? He cannot, unless you will accept the strain. Immediately you face the strain, you will get the strength. Overcome your own timidity and take the step, and God will give you to eat of the tree of life and you will get nourishment. If you spend yourself out physically, you become exhausted; but spend yourself spiritually, and you get more strength. God never gives strength for tomorrow, or for the next hour, but only for the strain of the minute. The temptation is to face difficulties from a common-sense standpoint. The saint is hilarious when he is crushed with difficulties because the thing is so ludicrously impossible to anyone but God.” Oswald Chambers
Be: (positive confession) I Am an Overcomer.
Do: (first steps) Today, stop viewing the struggles you face as something meant to destroy you. Instead take a positive approach to those things which cause you frustration and discomfort and focus more on finding the uncommon solution. Get out of the box of the physical first process and seek the spiritual perspective at the beginning by asking the questions “What can God teach me through this?” and “How do I glorify God in response to this challenge?”
Have: (making dreams reality) As I change my thinking and approach to the obstacles in my path I will no longer compound problems by treating the symptoms; instead I will confound my enemies and find creative answers to the real causes of adversity .

Inspiration: “We are hungry for more, if we do not consciously pursue the More, we create less for ourselves and make it more difficult to experience more in life.” Judith Wright
Be: (positive confession) I Am Hungry (for good things).
Do: (first steps) Today, learn to curb your craving for things that are seemingly satisfying, but not really beneficial. As sweets, beforehand, can spoil your appetite for healthy food you can just as easily wreck your most intimate relationships by choosing to take in “eye candy” in place of honoring your spouse, destroy your body by deciding to ingest liters of soda rather than copious amounts of water, and waste your most precious commodity – time- by plopping down in front of the television for hours instead of developing your mind through a good book.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I decide to drop time, energy, and intimacy wasters I will create space that allows me to hunger for things that really do benefit me and the people around me.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
