Be: (Positive Confession) I am Crossed Up.

Do: (First Steps) Today, realize that while there is no shortcut to successful relationships in and outside of business, the chasm from death into life has been bridged by the cross, and you can obtain it in two simple steps.  Regardless of how mixed up your family history, background, or present life situation may be you can forever secure your future by believing in the sacrifice made by Jesus on your behalf (step 1) and confessing him as your personal savior and Lord (step 2).

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I accept the power of the cross to heal and deliver me and take the necessary steps to recieving this free gift I have the promise of eternal life in paradise.

Inspiration: “He whose face gives no light, shall never become a star.”  William Blake

Be: (Positive Confession) I am Piercing The Darkness.

Do: (First Steps) Today, allow the light of Christ within you to shine even more so when surrounded by darkness.   While most will simply curse the caliginous surroundings and in fact empower it through the force of defeatist words, the bold and brave cut through it with the unquenchable flame of faith that rises up in their attitude and speech.  When it comes to the situations you face, no matter how bleak, on a day to day basis take authority over them and keep your face aglow with the trust that everything is working out for your favor.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I expose the candle of God’s truth and love it will continue to provide illumination for my path and a star to guide others who have been engrossed in the murkiness of a Christ-less life.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.”  George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Winning Playwright and Nobel Laureate

Be: (Positive Confession) I am More Honorable.

Do: (First Steps) Today, let your actions be dictated by more honor.  The hallmark of a more honorable life is one where you look beyond the pleasure you want to experience, focus on preventing the pain others experience, and willing embrace the fact that you may suffer harm along the way.  Use your resources to discover and develop ways to reduce the causes of death, poverty, and affliction in the world and don’t fear making mistakes along the way.  A bigger error would be to do nothing.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into reality) As I jump into the fray, the potential downsides and risks I may face will be overshadowed by the benefit of the pleasure that others receive and the sense of community I’ll have as a result.

Be, do, and have the best day of your Life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “You cannot fly like an eagle with the wings of a wren.” Henry Hudson

Be: (Positive Confession) I am an Eagle.

DO: (First Steps) Today, begin the molting process and experience a new you in 6 weeks.  About every 3 years eagles undergo a self inflicted, often painful process known as molting.  Over the course of 40 days they completely de-feather their wings, plucking out 700 plums per appendage (something akin to yanking out your finger and toenails).  Then they file down their talons, and decimate their beaks.  Once these stages are complete and their new feathers are in they re-apply a special oil to their plummage and mount up again for high altitude flying.  For you, molting may mean shedding some unwanted pounds, plucking out poor habits, or maybe even leaving behind some people who are not willing to ascend alongside you.  Once you’ve done the toughest part remember to prepare for take off by lubricating your wings with the oil of encouraging self talk and positive reinforcement of winning disciplines.  (For great tips on ways to positively reinforce your fitness and nutritional accomplishments visit www.weeklyhealthupdate.com and use doctor code: 33908RUBAN)

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I cast off the residue of physical and emotional debris and access a renewed sense of purpose I’ll soar to new heights.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Inspiration: “If you are cold at night, let the promise of my love cover you like a warm blanket” Matthew White

Be: (Positive Confession) I am Covered.

Do: (First Steps) Today, make sure you have full coverage.  Life, health, and liability insurance are all part of a sound financial plan; but to be fully protected against loss life assurance is the most important benefit to have in your portfolio.  The best thing about it is a plan has already been reserved with your name on it, at no expense to you.  Jesus assumed the costs completely all you need to do is take ownership of the policy by recieving Him.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I take posession of the gift of God’s love I’ll have rock solid protection for every area of my life and in the life to come.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life! God Bless You!

Inspiration: “Seek heaven and you will get earth thrown in. But if you seek earth, you will get neither.”  C.S. Lewis

Be: (Positive Confession)  I am Heavenly Minded.

Do: (First Steps) Today, take your eyes off of the material because in the long run its importance is immaterial.  This is not to say that you should be, as Oliver Wendell Holmes once said “so heavenly minded” that you are “no earthly good”.  On the contrary those that are truly heavenly minded understand that while on this Earth we must make the most of our time here reaching and touching a dying world by using the gifts and resources we have been blessed with for more than just self-interest.  Expend your efforts, therefore, not for things that will eventually rust out, expire, and lose their value; but rather, helping others capture the miracle of eternity in the presence of a loving God.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality)  As I fix my attention heavenward and unselfishly extend myself to others I’ll have the richness of heaven and position myself for the promise of riches on Earth.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life!  God Bless YOU!

Inspiration: “We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects.” Herman Melville, Author best known for writing Moby Dick

Be: (Positive Confession) I am a Connector.

Do: (First Steps) Today, understand and practice the art of connecting with your audience (prospective customer or clients).  Whether you are making a presentation to one person or a large group of people remember that they will never care how much you know until they know how much you care….about them.  Here are some guidelines to follow to cement a productive interface.  First, leave your junk in the trunk.  Everyone has their own problems, bringing up what went wrong on the ride over or the night before will only serve to create a barrier of uncomfortable feelings that may be too much to bring down.  Second, engage both sides of the brain; preferably start by tapping into the creative/emotional right brain through the use of stories and illustrations that evoke an emotional/visceral response followed by a presentation of the logic behind your proposal to satisfy the left half of the craniumThird, use your eyes to transmit truthfulness, interest, and confidence.  Good eye contact (not stare down!) will help the people you are connecting with to see your sincerity, get the feeling that you are acknowledging their specialness, and demonstrate that you have confidence in yourself.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I learn to make solid connections, as opposed to just impressions, the result will be more sales transacted, a greater amount of repeat business due to the relationships I establish, and more referrals because of the level of trust I impart.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Be: (Positive Confession) I am All Keyed Up.

Do: (First Steps) Today, do some core strengthening.  For the body a well developed core will help you stand erect and prevent back pain.  For the soul strong core values are no different, they’ll help you stand up under adversity and give you the backbone to face your fears head on.  Build your infrastructure by studying and applying the timeless principles found in the Bible; including answers for your health, relationships, and finances.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I adhere to changeless and timeless principles I’ll have at my disposal the keys of the kingdom.

Inspiration: “Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something, and that this thing, at whatever cost, must be attained.” Marie Curie, Two Time Nobel Prize Winner

Be: (Positive Confession) I am Gifted.

Do: (First Steps) Today, access the gifts within you.  Whether your area of gifting has already surfaced or are waiting to be unlocked there is no doubt that there is something special on the inside of you. Though tests have been developed to pigeonhole people into a specific field or occupation I don’t believe these are the way to determine where your gifts are.  To find your gifts look at what it is you love doing, those things that strike a passionate chord within your spirit and allow you to express your originality.

Have: (Turning Dreams Into Reality) As I figure out what it is that I want out of this life and uncover the things that excite energy and enthusiasm in me I’ll know what it is to tap into my gift and make my impression on this world a lasting one.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life! God Bless You!

Inspiration: “In times of great stress or adversity, it’s always best to keep busy, to plow your anger and your energy into something positive.” Lee Iacocca

Be: (Positive Confession) I am Stress-less.

Do: (First Steps) Today, get nautical when it comes to dealing with stress.  No, I don’t mean jumping into the ocean (brrr) or a hot tub for the entire day (although that may not be a bad idea), but rather taking a page from the engineers of Cruise Liners by learning how to compartmentalize.  Ships are built with air tight sections so that if one compartment springs a leak the doors to that area can be completely locked so that it will not cause the rest of the boat to become flooded and sink (for an example of improperly using this technology watch Titanic).  In much the same way, to make sure that the adversity in your life doesn’t flow over so much from one day to the next, start each new day by making a commitment to do what you CAN do for that particular 24 hour period to progress toward your goals and dreams.  In this way the task at hand won’t seem so large and your mind will be able to focus more on an obtainable objective.

Have: (Turning Dreams into Realities) As I learn to view each day as an opportunity to advance a step closer to my dream, regardless of what happened the day before or what looms on the horizon of days to come, I’ll have less stress and more energy to produce success.

Be, do, and have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!
