The Thought For The Day: More Honorable
Friday, November 20, 2009
Inspiration: “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.” George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Winning Playwright and Nobel Laureate
Be: (Positive Confession) I am More Honorable.
Do: (First Steps) Today, let your actions be dictated by more honor. The hallmark of a more honorable life is one where you look beyond the pleasure you want to experience, focus on preventing the pain others experience, and willing embrace the fact that you may suffer harm along the way. Use your resources to discover and develop ways to reduce the causes of death, poverty, and affliction in the world and don’t fear making mistakes along the way. A bigger error would be to do nothing.
Have: (Turning Dreams Into reality) As I jump into the fray, the potential downsides and risks I may face will be overshadowed by the benefit of the pleasure that others receive and the sense of community I’ll have as a result.
Be, do, and have the best day of your Life! God Bless You!
