Inspiration: “Happy people plan actions, they don’t plan results”  Dennis Wholey

Be: (positive confession) I Am a Strategist.

Do: (first steps) Today, begin (if you haven’t already started) to devise your strategies for a productive 2010.  Don’t merely make resolutions, outline in writing the specific steps you are going to take to reach those goals you have set.  In addition create incremental (week, month, quarter, yearly) goals that will help you measure your progress.  Lastly, commit to the habits you decide upon without worrying about results;  knowing that though you can’t control outcomes you can increase the liklihood that favorable returns will occur more consistently.  This third step can and should be solidified by having a mentor or accountability partner (someone who you trust will hold you to your word.)

Have: (making dreams reality) As I set forth written objectives and strategies to accomplish them I am nearly 50% more likely to achieve that which I’ve set out to do. (This according to research by Gail Matthews, Phd Dominican University)

Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life!  God Bless You!

Thanks A.J. for these timely suggestions about goals. Within the framework that you outlined I was able to build a lesson plan for my seminar at FGCU. I also used exerpts from my book, “Mentoring To-Go” and togeather it proved to be a very successful combination. Just think, you were a part of a winning team! Just thought that you should know. Thanks again and God Bless You! Giovanni Michangelo Domino
