Be: (positive confession) I Am a Protege.
Do: (first steps) Today, seek the wisdom of those who have a track record of excellence, realizing that no one can be a success for you, you have to earn that yourself. Model yourself after their pattern of discipline and resist the tendency to expect more from them than they are able to give (mentors have personal responsibilities as well). When you ask them for advice in an area of their expertise, be quick to follow it for if you do they will gladly share more of what they have learned from the school of hard knocks so that you can benefit from both their past failures and breakthroughs (if you don’t they may simply want to knock you upside your head).
Have: (making dreams reality) As I apply myself to the way of the protégé and learn from the best I’ll speed up my path to success.
