Thought For The Day: Resilient
Friday, February 20, 2009
Inspiration: “People who soar are those who refuse to sit back, sigh and wish things would change. They neither complain of their lot nor passively dream of some distant ship coming in. Rather, they visualize in their minds that they are not quitters; they will not allow life’s circumstances to push them down and hold them under.” Charles Swindoll
Be: (positive confession) I Am Resilient.
Do: (first steps) Today, teach your children and those under your guidance the attribute of resilience. A prominent insurance company has the slogan “Life comes at you hard”, understand that while this is a true statement the truth is I have the power to rise above every challenge that comes my way if I faint not.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I dedicate myself to a life of resilience the things that happen to me won’t bust me up; they will only serve to break me down to the expose the elements essential to my success so that I can be built up and readied to receive the blessings that God has reserved for me.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
