Thought For The Day: Tide Turner
Monday, February 16, 2009
Inspiration: “The gratitude of every home in our Island, in our Empire, and indeed throughout the world, except in the abodes of the guilty, goes out to the British airmen who, undaunted by odds, unwearied in their constant challenge and mortal danger, are turning the tide of the World War by their prowess and by their devotion. Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.” Winston Churchill
Be: (positive confession) I Am Tide Turner.
Do: (first steps) Today, make some waves; and I don’t mean the ripples of a malcontent. The two primary characteristics of a wave are Frequency (how close together) and Amplitude (relates to size). Similarly, through consistent discipline and through periods of supreme effort you can stem the tide of negative outcomes and cause good to flood your life and the lives of those nearest to you; as well as those you’ve never met.
Have: (making dreams reality) As I devote myself to the cause of justice, righteousness, and freedom I like the British airmen command the gratitude and respect accorded of great men and women.
Be, Do, and Have the best day of your life! God Bless You!
